Meet Our Newest Four-Legged Deputy!

Please help us welcome a new member of the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office family, K9 Elek!

K9 Elek is a 1 year old German Shepherd from Hungary and is a dual-purpose K9 trained in narcotics detection and criminal apprehension.

K9 Elek will be working alongside K-9 Handler Corporal Dakota Watson, assisting our deputies with drug detection, tracking suspects, and helping keep our community safe.

Elek completed an 8-week K9 handler school with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office, where he and Corporal Watson underwent extensive training to prepare for real-world situations.
