The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office was proud to host Girl Scouts from Troops 21051, 20889, and 21136 as they worked to earn their Junior Detective Badge. Sergeant Detectives Samantha Carver and Bryan Talbott led a hands-on workshop that gave the girls a look into the world of investigations and detective science.

The scouts learned about fingerprinting, blood spatter patterns, impression evidence like tire and shoe prints, and even practiced decoding secret messages. These skills are all part of the official badge requirements and help teach critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving in a fun, interactive way.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to partner with these troops and proud of the energy and curiosity each scout brought with them. It was a great day of learning and laughs here at the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, be sure to check out the photos from their visit below!
