Over the past ten months, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Chad McVay, along with members of the Criminal Investigations Division, has been working hard to organize and put together 24 Christmas dinner boxes for families throughout Loudon County. These meals serve families ranging from three to seven people and include turkeys, hams, vegetables, mac and cheese, biscuits, gravy, plates, and more.
Earlier this morning, Detective McVay, trustees from the Loudon County Detention Facility, and deputies from LCSO came together to sort and package everything into boxes in preparation for delivery. Once ready, deputies, detectives, and administrative personnel delivered the dinners to families across the county.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our community partners who helped make this project possible: Wal-Mart, Food City, Food Lion, Ingles, and the members of LCSO who also contributed to this effort.
